June 18, 2020 – Newport ME – Bowman Constructors has announced that it will be partnering with five local credit unions to support the Campaign for Ending Hunger.
“We love working with our credit union partners.” Says Brian Bowman – Vice President of Bowman Constructors. “The Campaign for Ending Hunger does a lot of good for our community. With all that’s going on, we recognized a need for additional support for these campaigns and wanted to step in to lend a hand.”
Bowman Constructors has offered to match up to $1,000 for each of the five partnering credit unions. Additionally, they will be offering an additional $500 to the credit union who gets the most votes on the Bowman Facebook page.
The fundraising event will run from June 19 through July 3. All donations to the credit unions, and votes on the Facebook page, will be counted between those dates.
“Our fundraising efforts have been a challenge due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year.” Says New Dimensions FCU CEO, Ryan Poulin. “We are grateful for those that have stepped up and come forward to help us with this great cause.”
Mindy Nyman, Operations Manager at Sebasticook Valley Credit Union, agrees.
“We are happy to participate in this program,” Nyman exclaims. “Our fundraising has been severely cut back due to the COVID-19 virus, so this is very welcome.”
The five credit unions that Bowman has partnered with are New Dimensions FCU, KVFCU, Bangor Credit Union, Sebasticook Valley Credit Union, and County Credit Union.
