The culmination of a project is an exciting time. Bowman Constructors’ strong team is dedicated to the final closeout. Our Closeout Project Coordinator, Melanie Ecker, is continually updating the warranty and operational manuals and processing individual owner’s closeout requirements.
All team members begin communicating the closeout information in the weeks prior to its occurrence. There is an understanding that the owners are anxious to get into their new building, whether it is a tenant moving into a new apartment in one of our affordable housing projects or a business operator who needs to shift clients or merchandise to their new location. We have a great record for turnover on time.
We do our best to have a very small punch list and make sure that everything is good to go. If a problem does arise, as they occasionally do, it is always our goal to take care of it promptly and efficiently.
Our Procore project management system has proven to be an invaluable asset for managing the critical part of the closeout process.
Our valued accounting staff of Cathy Goodblood and Tonya Richardson process all remaining requisitions and final lien waivers to ensure a smooth final delivery.
Our Director of Marketing and Business Development, Becky Adams, is on hand to assist with ribbon cuttings, grand openings, photos, and social media promotion of your upgraded building.
Either Becky or Melanie are able to answer your questions at any time throughout the closeout process.
Finally, in addition to effective planning and construction, the best-built projects require attention following initial occupancy. We will work with our clients to provide training and a thorough understanding of the building’s systems and maintenance routines.
