Type of Structure: Steel, glass, stone

The project was initially over-budget. The University of Maine was in the process of developing a new roof framing and construction method during this build.

Bowman worked with the architect and owner to reduce/modify scopes to overcome the budget challenges. Bowman Constructors was tasked with the integration of this new roofing system into the design and construction of the project.

We used locally manufactured products (46%), low VOC finishes, low flow fixtures that reduced water consumption by 20%, and we recycled almost all construction waste (91%).
